Privacy policy (draft)

1. Who we are

PrintFlow is a print workflow automation platform. A workspace is created by a business or organisation (the workspace owner), who is the controller of the data uploaded to that workspace.

2. What we process

Account data

Name, email and username for workspace owners and department admins.

Uploaded documents

Files submitted for printing, stored under the workspace's own storage directory.

Operational data

Job status, dispatch events, device connectivity and per-page pricing.

Verification data

A one-time email code used to confirm an address during signup.

3. Documents and file storage

Files are stored to allow printing and operator review. Completing a job removes its stored files, and aggregated page counts are retained for reporting. Workspace owners can delete a department, which removes its queue and unpaired its agent.

4. Credentials

Admin sessions use bearer tokens held by the browser. Agent credentials are stored only on the Windows machine running the agent, in that user's AppData. Pairing codes are one-time, expire after ten minutes, and are stored only as a hash.

5. Payments

PrintFlow does not process payments and does not request or store card details. Per-page rates are configuration used to calculate estimates only.

6. Your responsibilities as a workspace owner

Uploads to your workspace may contain personal data belonging to your customers. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that processing and for informing the people who upload documents. This draft does not transfer that responsibility to PrintFlow.
